Ear-blistering pandemonium
Befalls upon the ground below
And the murder of sleep
Lifts the burning veils of delirium
Upon this rock another regency of mire shall rise
Attuned to the seditious pride of our purveyors
Bows your heads in resignation and behold the only
True creed!
All your existential infirmities are worth the time of minutiae
All of you shall fight for your own subjugation
As though it were your sole deliverance
Nothing more than a terse breath until
The omen of sanctimony becomes unbearable
And to admit the crowning verdict of all that we ever wished for
How formidable the collective statatement against living could be
A luminous triumph that would adumbrate even the Sun
The chasm of clarity is just one step away
And in true knowledge there can only be pure nothingness
Is there anything other than a metamorphic blunder?
Hiding beneath our tears and smiles
Through the walls of nightmare the vastness of the ages
Has revealed itself!
Announcing our primal malaise
The insight of the imminent thought!

Ἡ εἰκών was an impressive debut, but way too short! Luckily, Ψευδομένη arrives to satisfy the urge for more of what made its precedessor hit hard and fast: some atmospheric moments (don't be deterred as this is still brutal, dissonant and disgusting to the core) and at the same time, J.L. is exploring longer tracks - e.g. my personal favourite - and implementing some cavernous lows. If there's one thing we can all agree on, it's most likely that this man refuses to stand still. What a pace! David Fischer

Heaviest thing I’ve heard all year along with Altarage. Okay I’ve been listening to this record for the past two weeks and it just gets better and better. Dissonant grooves galore Jacob Ballance
